Description

5 Minutes and only one pot to wash up, do I need to say more. This is a life-saver recipe for busy families. Especially if you have an Instant Pot.

Scale

Ingredients

500g lean mince

150 g fresh tomatoes, grated carrots or baby marrow for extra vegetables

500ml Pesto Princess tomato sauce or passata

225g pasta

2 cups water

I also added 2 cloves of garlic, fresh basil and rosemary.

If you are not using Pesto Princess Tomato Sauce also add a chopped onion.

Instructions

Switch Instant Pot to sautè mode.

Add onion and sauté if not using Pesto Princess Tomato Sauce.

Otherwise just add mince meat and brown slightly. Add garlic and vegetables and then add Pesto Princess tomato sauce, pasta and water. Give it a stir and close the lid of the Instant Pot.

Press High Pressure mode and switch on for five minutes.

Once the cooking time is finished, turn the pressure release valve until all the pressure have been released.

Take of lid and give a stir, it might be a little watery. But the liquid absorbs after a while.

Serve with parmesan and fresh basil

Add seasoning if needed.
