Description

Meal planner

Why did I create the meal planner?

I always wrote some random meal ideas on pieces of paper with a few scribbles for the shopping list. Haphazardly with no plan. I usually ‘lost’ my shopping list after the first shop and either dropped it while trying to pay and keep my then toddlers in tow while at the checkout line.

The idea came to me one night while lying in bed, that a perforated shopping list will be ideal so your plan for the week can stay on the fridge.

And so I started with the first concepts and drafts, researching printing costs, getting a designer to help with the final designs. It was only after working with four printing companies that I felt happy with the quality of the product.

This was such a small project, but it took a lot of time and effort to finally come up with the WSK Meal planner. And I can honestly say that I have used this meal planner every week for the last four years. There are a lot of generic meal planners on the market, but mine was created by a someone with a foodie mindset.

  • There is space for all 21 meals of the week, because we do not just eat dinner and we don’t buy ingredients just for dinner. Especially If you are following a specific diet where you have to cut out food like a gluten intolerance or weight loss journey you need to be on top of your planning for every meal and snack
  • To make your week a littler easier cook a few things on a Sunday or over the weekend and plan for it.
  • What are your goals? Is it to drink more water or go for a walk every day. Write it down so it can become actionable.
  • The ingredients are grouped into categories so you don’t have to walk up and down the supermarket isles. Just pick up all your fruit and vegetables in the fresh produce isle.
