Description

It’s my homemade upgrade to the instant breakfast cereals many of us grew up with. But that is also high in Protein and Fibre.

Ingredients

4 cups oats
8 tsp flaxseeds
4 scoops @metalabofficial Bridge Vanilla Milk Whey Protein (using the 34 g scoop that comes with the tub)
4 scoops Klim milk powder (using the same 34 g scoop for consistency)
4 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp salt
4 medium apples(Optional) dehydrated and blended. I just used fresh, found dehydrating apples in the air-fryer a little too time consuming)

Instructions

Add the oats and flaxseeds to a blender. Blend until smooth. Add to a mixing bowl and add the rest of the ingredients. Stir until mixed. Add to a large airtight jar.
To serve:
Add 80-100 g of the mix to a bowl, pour over boiling water, stir well, and leave to stand for 2–3 minutes.

Notes

A little note: I haven’t tested this recipe with any other protein powders. I developed it using MetaLab Bridge Vanilla Milk Whey Protein, and we love the creamy vanilla flavour it gives the porridge.
